<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 150%;"><span class="txt"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">It is submitted that the industry is medium scale red category unit. The industry was granted consent to operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/LDH4/2021/17195351 dated 01/12/2021, valid upto 31/03/2023 with certain conditions. </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 150%;"><span class="txt"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS on 25.01.2023. The industry has deposited consent fee Rs. Rs. 1,08,000/- vide R. No. 935340321 dated 25.01.2023 which is adequate upto 31.03.28 <span style="color: red;"> </span>against the gross value of fixed assets Rs. 9,87,05,607/- and plant & machinery Rs. 6,60,13,945/- as on 30.09.2022. </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">To verify the facts, the industry was visited by the undersigned on 18.02.23 <span style="color: red;"> <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span>and it was observed as under:-</span></p>

The industry is maintaining the record of APCD operation .</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: .75in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span class="txt"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style';"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span class="txt"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>It is further informed that the stack emission sample of the industry has been collected on 10.08.22 <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>from porthole of 02 TPH of boiler stack after APCD and as per the analysis report, the SPM was found to be 165 mg/Nm3 against the prescribed limit of 500 mg/Nm3 and SO2=298 mg/Nm3 against the prescribed limit 400 mg/Nm3 which is within the prescribed limits of the Board. </span></span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: .75in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span class="txt"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style';"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">6.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span class="txt"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">The industry has installed 02 D.G. sets of capacities one of 250 KVA & one of 82 KVA with canopies and adequate stack height.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: .75in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', serif; font-size: 12pt; text-indent: 1in;">In view of above, it is recommended that the renewal of consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 30.06.27 </span><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', serif; font-size: 12pt; text-indent: 1in;"> </span><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', serif; font-size: 12pt; text-indent: 1in;">with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board .</span></p>
