It is intimated that the industry has applied the renewal CTO under the Water Act,1974, RO has reported that no trade effluent was being generated, and only qt 14KLD domestic effluent was being discharged onto land for plantation after treatment in STP. STP installed by the industry has been monitored and as per the analysis result parameters are beyond the prescribed limit by the Board, the industry has not submitted the reply w.r.t clarification, pp does not comply with the hearing decision as well as also not comply with provision water Act,1974. EE, RO has not given comments on whether the plantation area is adequate to handle the @14 KLD domestic effluent or not.</span></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">May if approved the SCN for refusal of CTO under the Water Act,1974 be issued to the industry with an opportunity personal hearing before CEE. EE, RO may also be requested to give his comments on whether the plantation area is adequate to handle the @14 KLD domestic effluent or not.</span></p>
