<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The unit was earlier granted consent to establish (NOC) valid upto 18.02.2022 for production of frozen vegetables and fruits @ 36 MTD with raw material of Fresh vegetable and fruits @ 100 MTD.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The industry applied for fresh consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 and it was observed that the actual date of commissioning of the unit was not clear as it submitted that it is under trial runs but mentioned the date of commissioning as March, 2022 in the application form. The industry was given hearing on 27/12/2022 but it failed to attend the hearing and CTOs were refused.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Now, the industry has reapplied for consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 for production of frozen vegetables and fruits @ 36 MTD. The unit has submitted compliance of NOC, approved building plan, completion certificate of ETP etc. The industry has deposited Rs. 113400/- vide UTR No. P208220181824262 dated 27.07.2022 under Air Act and Rs. 113900/- vide UTR No. P208220181825797 dated 27.07.2022 under Water Act.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The fee deposited by the industry is adequate upto 30.09.2027.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The industry was visited on 30.11.2022 and observed that the unit was not in operation. The unit has installed ETP of capacity 150 KLD of MBBR Technology to treat the trade effluent generated from its premises and same will be discharged onto land for plantation for Karnal Technology.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The total land area of plantation is developed by the unit approx. 2 acres. The industry has installed septic tank for the treated domestic effluent and same will be discharged into plantation are inside the premises of the industry. The industry has installed one no. boiler of capacity 1 TPH along with cyclone separator as APCD and adequate stack height and using as a fuel wood.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The industry has installed one no. 500 KVA fitted with canopy.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The industry has submitted that the date of commissioning was mentioned in the application form by mistake as March, 2022. The plant has not commissioned yet and operated for trial run only. The analysis report shall be submitted after commissioning and obtaining consent from the PPCB.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>In view of above, if approved consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act,1981<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>may be granted to the industry upto 30.09.2027 with usual terms and conditions and with special condition that</p>
