<p class="tableparagraph" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;">The industry is a small scale orange category service station. Earlier the service station was granted consent under Water Act,1974which is valid upto 31.12.2022. </span></p>
<p class="tableparagraph" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span> Now, the service station has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 through OCMMS. The service station was visited by EE alongwith AEE on 25.01.2023 and observed that service station is engaged in service repair and washing of four wheeler vehicles and has installed effluent treatment plant for treatment of effluent generated from washing section and same was in operation. The effluent samples were collected during visit and results are within the limit prescribed for such type of discharges. Further it has now provided water meter or energy meter with ETP and maintaining the record of the same. The service station was produced record w.r.t operation of ETP, chemical used etc. Domestic effluent is discharged into sewer. The industry has submitted approved building plan from authenticated Architect from Director of Factories, Punjab. </span></p>
<p class="tableparagraph" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>In view of report of Regional Office if approved, <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>consent to operate under Water Act 1974 may be granted to service station upto 30.09.2026 with usual conditions as per policy of the Board.(Competency SEE)</span></p>
