<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;">The industry is a large scale red category industry <span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif'; font-size: 12pt;">engaged in manufacturing of polyester staple fibre @ 231 MTD, polyester oriented yarn @ 40 MTD and polyester fibrefill & short cut from pet flakes @ 30 MTD </span>and was granted consent under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 both upto 31.03.2023.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981. As per agenda note the industry was visited on 17.10.2022 and observed that the industry was in operation. The industry has installed 04 no. boilers of 8 TPH capacity, 01 Cheema Boiler of capacity 28.5 TPH, 01 thermix heater, 02 Bertram heater, 02 UPS and 01 thermic fluid heater. During visit only 02 no. boilers of capacity 8 TPH were in operation and other boilers were not operational. The boiler of capacity 28.5 TPH is provided with ESP as APCD. </p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"> In view of report of RO, if approved, it is recommended that consent to operate Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 31.03.2028 with usual terms and conditions.(Competency - Chairman of the Board)</p> |
