<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The unit is small scale orange category Marriage Palace and was granted consents both valid upto 30.09.2022. Now the marriage palace has applied for renewal consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>As per agenda note the marriage palace has installed STP for the treatment of domestic effluent generated from kitchen & toilet. The components of the STP are collection tank, reaction tank-cum-dozing tank, settling tank, filters. The treated effluent is utilized for the irrigation of lawns and gardens within the premises. The marriage palace has submitted effluent analysis report from PBTI, Mohali dated 14.09.2022, as per analysis report,<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>the concentration of various parameters is within the prescribed limits by the Board.The marriage palace has installed a DG Set of capacity 40 KVA with canopy and adequate stack height. The solid waste generated is lifted by the local piggeries and the plastic waste generated is lifted by the Local Kabadias.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The Regional Office has processed the consent cases for grant without visit as per office order issued by the Board vide no. CEE(HQ)F.No. 957/2016/59 dated 2/2/2016 regarding grant of auto renewal consent to establish/consent to operate to the Orange & Green category industries.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;">In view of above, if approved, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the palace upto 30.09.2027 with suitable & terms conditions and with special condition that:-</p>

<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: normal; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The project proponent shall adopt energy conservation measures by providing solar system, LED bulbs & inverters etc.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: normal; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">5)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The project proponent shall properly handle and manage the solid wastages as per the provisions of the Municipal Solid Waste Rules 2016 and ensure that the solid waste is segregated & disposed of in an environmentally sound manner.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: normal; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">6)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The project proponent shall not throw burn or burry any solid wastes in open outside premises or in drain / water bodies.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: normal; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">7)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The project proponent shall ensure that there are no usages of single use plastic- thermocol disposable items such as water bottles / water pouches / water cups, plates, forks, spoons, straw etc. and single use decorating material made of plastic-thermocal or any other non-biodegradable material in the premises.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></p>
