<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The unit is large scale orange category educational institute and was granted consents both valid upto 31.03.2021. Now the educational institute has applied for consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 through OCMMS</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>As per agenda note the campus was visited on 16.12.2022 and observed that in the campus, 7 No. educational institutes, 03 No. boys hostel, 03 No. girls hostel are available. The campus has installed STP for the treatment of domestic effluent generated from its premises and same was in operation during visit and treated domestic effluent was being discharged onto land for gardening/ horticulture. During visit, the effluent sampling of the campus was collected at final outlet of STP and various parameters are within the limits prescribed by the Board. </p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>In view of report of RO, it is recommended that Consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>to the institute upto 30.09.2026 with usual terms & conditions.
