<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The industry is a small scale red category unit engaged in manufacturing of Screwdriver @ 5000 No/Day. The industry has applied for fresh consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air (Act, 1981 through OCMMS.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify;">·<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>As per agenda note the industry was visited on 09.02.2023 and it was observed that the industry was in operation during the visit and was engaged in manufacturing of Screwdriver.The industry has installed 1 nickel chrome plating section and the industry has made an agreement with re-processors i.e. M/s JBR Technologies Pvt. Ltd (Unit-II), for lifting of effluent @ 4000 Liter/Month.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The industry has provided water meter at source of fresh water supply and its reading was noted to be 24.47 KL at the time of visit. The industry was advised to maintain the record regarding generation and lifting of trade effluent. The industry has provided underground tank of capacity 5000 for collection of trade effluent.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The industry has provided 9 no. injection moulding machines in which fresh and recycled plastic granules are being used as raw material.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Domestic effluent is being discharged onto land for plantation after septic tank.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The industry has submitted land use classification certificate issued by DTP, Jalandhar vide letter no. 041 dated 09.01.2023 as per which the site falls in special industrial zone. The industry has submitted approved site plan prepared by Er. Satyajit Dhir (Competent Person) from Director of Factories.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>In view of report of RO, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.06.2028 with usual conditions and special condition that the industry shall maintain record regarding generation and lifting of trade effluent on daily basis.(Competency Senior Environmental Engineer)</p> |
