<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The industry is small scale orange category unit and was granted consents both valid upto 30.06.2022. Now the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Water Act 1974 and Air Act, 1981 through OCMMS.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>As per agenda note the industry was visited by the AEE on 08.02.2023 and it was observed that the industry was in operation during visit. The industry has installed 1 no. induction furnace with bag house filter as APCD. The industry has installed 1 no. galvanizing furnace with hood and adequate stack height. Both induction furnace as well as galvanizing furnace were not in operation during visit. The industry has installed<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>1 no shot blasting machine with bag house filter as APCD. The industry has installed 1 no DG set of capacity 05 KVA with canopy. There is no source of generation of trade effluent. Domestic effluent is being discharged into sewer. The industry has already submitted approved building plan from competent person under Factory Act, Punjab.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Keeping in view of report of RO, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.06.2027 with usual conditions as per policy of the Board.
