Now, the industry has applied for renewal Consent to Operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify; text-indent: 58.3pt; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;">The industry has submitted requisite documents and fees. The industry is an casting unit and has installed cupola furnace in the premises. The industry falls in the Focal point area and has submitted the certificate from DTP, Ludhiana regarding Industrial land use.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify; text-indent: 58.3pt; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;">In view of above, it is recommended that ‘Consent to Operate’ under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 30.06.2026 with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board. </span></p>
