During visit, it was observed as under:</span></p>

<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left: 81.0pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 115%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">The poultry farm has provided feed mill in its premises having one no. mixer, but the same was not equipped with APCD and stack. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left: 81.0pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 115%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;">The poultry farm has provided flow meter on its submersible pumps. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left: 81.0pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 115%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">The domestic effluent is being discharged through septic tank for disposal in nearby agricultural feeds and some stagnation was found near said septic tank. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left: 81.0pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 115%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">5.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">The poultry farm has provided pucca pit for disposal of dead birds. However, the area near said pit was under unhygienic conditions as some of dead birds were found lying in open. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left: 81.0pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 115%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">6.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;">The poultry farm is required to provide more plantation in its premises/along the boundary walls. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left: 81.0pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 70.9pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">The poultry farm is not taking adequate measures as mentioned above and is not complying with consents conditions granted to it under </span><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;">Water (Prevention & <span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">Control</span> of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 70.9pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">If approved, show cause notice for refusal of Consent to Operate under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 maybe issued to the poultry farm.</span></p> |
