<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">It is intimated that the industry is an existing large scale red category unit. The industry was granted consent under Water Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/LDH1/2021/15108080 dated 5.4.2021 valid upto 30.06.2023 and 'Consent to Operate' under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act,</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/LDH1/2020/12786308 dated 17.8.2020 valid upto 31.03.2023.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> Now the industry has applied for renewal 'Consent to Operate' under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981. To verify the facts the industry was visited by the officer of the Board on 17.02.2023 and it was observed as under:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: .5in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-pagination: widow-orphan; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2; text-autospace: ideograph-numeric ideograph-other;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">The industry was in operation during visit & it was engaged in manufacturing of auto parts involving the process of machining, phosphating & painting. </span></p>
<ol style="margin-top: 0in;" start="1" type="1">
<li class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has made an agreement with M/s JBR Tech Pvt. Ltd. (CETP) for 1,00,000 Ltr./month (04 KLD) for lifting of its trade effluent. </span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has provided an underground concrete tank of capacity 50000 Ltr for storage of its trade effluent. </span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has installed water meter on pipeline leading to process area.</span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry is maintaining the record of water consumption and trade effluent lifted by M/s JBR. The record was verified during the visit and found in order. </span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has installed STP for treatment of its domestic effluent. The treated is being discharge onto land for plantation after STP. There was no stagnation in the plantation area during visit.</span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has installed 2 nos. paint booth with water curtain as APCD along with adequate stack height. The industry has installed 3 nos. powder coating booth with multi cyclone as APCD along with adequate stack height for recovery of the coating material. The industry has also installed 01 baking oven with adequate stack height.</span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has also installed general machinery like power presses CNC machine welding machine etc.</span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has installed 2 nos. DG sets of capacity 500 KVA each with canopy and adequate stack height.</span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 115%; mso-pagination: widow-orphan; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1; text-autospace: ideograph-numeric ideograph-other;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has already submitted approved building plan from competent person/authority.</span></li>

<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin-bottom: 4.0pt; text-align: justify;"> <span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">In view of above, it is recommended that renewal ‘Consent to Operate’ under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 31.03.2028 with usual conditions and with conditions already imposed in previous consent letter.</span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> </span></p>
