BMW/Fresh/RPN/2021/17325245 dated 07/12/2021 which is valid upto 31/03/2023 for generation, segregation and storage of bio-medical waste for 45 no. of beds.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 72.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-font-width: 115%;">Further, the HCF was granted consent to operate under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Fresh/RPN/2021/16638457 dated 28/10/2021 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Varied/RPN/2021/16628812 dated 28/10/2021, both are valid upto 31/03/2023 for 45 no. beds.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 72.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-font-width: 115%;">Now, the HCF has applied for obtaining renewal of consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for 45 no. of beds along with the following documents submitted by it:</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 72.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-font-width: 115%;">The HCF has deposited Rs. 10,000/- and Rs. 500/- as application form fee vide R No. 317715047 dated 16/01/2023 under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Rs. 10,000/- vide R No. 17746356 dated 16/01/2023 under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. As such, the fee deposited by the HCF is adequate upto 31.01.2028 according to Board's order no. EPA/2017/No. 2235-59 dated 07/07/2017.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 72.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-font-width: 115%;">Further, the HCF was visited by the AEE of this office on 31.01.2023 and Dr. Gurdev Singh, Proprietor and Dr. Meenakshi, BMW Nodal Officer was contacted. <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 2.0cm; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-font-width: 115%;"> In view of above, it is recommended that show cause notice for violations of provisions of the Water Act, 1974 may be issued to the HCF with an opportunity of personal hearing before your good-self.</span></p>
