BMW/Fresh/RPN/2021/17325245 dated 07/12/2021 which is valid upto 31/03/2023 for generation, segregation and storage of bio-medical waste for 45 no. of beds.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 72.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-font-width: 115%;">Further, the HCF was granted consent to operate under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Fresh/RPN/2021/16638457 dated 28/10/2021 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Varied/RPN/2021/16628812 dated 28/10/2021, both are valid upto 31/03/2023 for 45 no. beds.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 72.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-font-width: 115%;">Now, the HCF has applied for obtaining renewal of consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for 45 no. of beds along with the following documents submitted by it:</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 72.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-font-width: 115%;">The HCF has deposited Rs. 10,000/- and Rs. 500/- as application form fee vide R No. 317715047 dated 16/01/2023 under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Rs. 10,000/- vide R No. 17746356 dated 16/01/2023 under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. As such, the fee deposited by the HCF is adequate upto 31.01.2028 according to Board's order no. EPA/2017/No. 2235-59 dated 07/07/2017.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 72.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-font-width: 115%;">Further, the HCF was visited by the AEE of this office on 31.01.2023 and Dr. Gurdev Singh, Proprietor and Dr. Meenakshi, BMW Nodal Officer was contacted. During visit, it was observed as under</span><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; color: #222222; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN;">:</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 72.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-font-width: 115%;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>In light of the facts mentioned above, it is recommended that Consent to Operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for 45 no. beds may be granted to the HCF upto 30/09/2027 subject to the suitable conditions and following additional conditions:</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo3;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-font-width: 115%;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-font-width: 115%;">The HCF will apply for fresh consent to operate/ authorization if it increases its bed capacity.</span></p>

The HCF has to comply with the zoning regulation of master plan & to be shifted from the site as and when asked by the Govt./PPCB/ or any concerned Govt. agency.</span></p>
