<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">It is submitted that notice u/s 33-A of the Water Act, 1974 & u/s 31-A of the Air Act, 1981 was issued to the marriage palace alongwith an opportunity of personal hearing before the Chief Environmental Engineer (B) of the Board on 17.11.2022, wherein it was decided that:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -27.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in 0in 6.0pt 27.0pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="X-NONE" style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; font-style: normal;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="X-NONE" style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; font-style: normal;">The marriage palace shall remove the incompletions pointed out by the Board by 15<sup>th</sup> December 2022 under intimation to Regional Office, Bathinda of the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -27.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in 0in 6.0pt 27.0pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="X-NONE" style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; font-style: normal;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="X-NONE" style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; font-style: normal;">The marriage palace shall apply for renewal of 'consents to operate' under the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981 within one week immediately after 15<sup>th</sup> December 2022.</span></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -27.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in 0in 6.0pt 27.0pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="X-NONE" style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; font-style: normal;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="X-NONE" style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; font-style: normal;">RO shall visit the site of marriage palace immediately after 15<sup>th</sup> December 2022 to verify the compliances made at site and thereafter, process the consent applications to submitted by the marriage palace, on merits.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>Now the marriage palace has applied for obtaining consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>Regional Office has reported that the marriage palace was visited on 04.02.2023 and it has been reported that the marriage palace has failed to provide septic tank after oil & grease trap for the effluent generated from the kitchen section and is yet to provide the hoods with adequate stack height in the kitchen section. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>In view of above, if approved, notice for refusal of consents to operate under the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 be issued to the marriage palace alongwith an opportunity of personal hearing before the Chief Environmental Engineer (B) of the Board please. </span></p> |
