<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">The industry has proposed to enhance the production capacity for handling of milk @ 500 KLD with proposed products as mentioned in the agenda note. Further, the company has proposed that complete automation of CIP system will be implemented for washing processes. Moreover, the addition of boiler @ 5 TPH shall be made to have standby arrangements.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">During visit of the industry by the undersigned alongwith AEE on 14/02/2023, it was observed that the current effluent generation from processing of milk @ 300 KLD is in the range of 90 to 100 KLD and the trade effluent generation after proposed expansion will be 290 KLD, for which the existing ETP will be upgraded with few additions as detailed above, but proposed capacity of the ETP is also 290 KLD, that need to be upgraded to 350 KLD capacity for effective treatment of the waste water. Further, the total proposed plantation area will be 6 acres, which is adequate to handle wastewater @ 301 KLD.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">It is therefore recommended that NOC (for expansion) be granted to the industry <strong>for one year</strong> with following special conditions.</p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry shall upgrade its ETP atleast upto the capacity 350 KLD before commissioning of expended unit.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry shall provide permanent pipeline distribution network in the plantation already developed under Karnal Technology in its existing premises and also in the proposed plantation of 3 Acres to be developed under Karnal Technology.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry shall obtain varied 'consent to operate' under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 before operation of sweetening plant as proposed by the industry to be commissioned in the month of March, 2023.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">5.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry shall operate its ETP regularly & efficiently to achieve the standard laid down by the Board for such type of discharges onto land for plantation.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">6.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The adequacy and efficacy of the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) will be the entire responsibility of the industry.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">7.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry shall ensure that there should not be any stagnation of effluent inside or outside the premises of the industry.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">8.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The entire cooling water generated by the industry shall be re-circulated.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">9.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry shall obtain registration under Plastic Waste Management Rules, 2016 as importer immediately from the Board and thereafter shall submit the copy to Zonal office.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">10.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry shall maintain the records of plastic waste lifted to the authorized re-cyclers and shall submit the same to the Board on regular basis.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">11.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry shall operate the APCD's regularly and efficiently so as to achieved the prescribed emission standards on regular basis.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">12.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry shall ensure that no air pollution problem / public nuisance / odour problem is created in the area due to discharge of emissions from its industrial premises.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">13.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry shall not change/modernize its manufacturing process and shall not increase its production capacity without obtaining prior written permission of the Board.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">14.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry shall not install any additional boiler, furnace without prior approval of the Board.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">15.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry shall dispose off the boiler ash as per guidelines of the Board so as to avoid any public nuisance.</p>
