<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt;"> </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Earlier the industry was granted consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 No. CTOW/Renewal/JAL/2018/8280339 dated 18.09.2018 valid upto 30.09.2022 and No. CTOA/Renewal/JAL/2018/8280138 dated 18.09.2018 valid upto 30.09.2022.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="margin-right: 4.7pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 115%;"> Now the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The industry has deposited Rs. 54,000/- vide R.N. P031230217639918 dated 31.01.2023 under Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 60,100/- (Including Rs. 5100/- as NOC regularization fee and form fee) vide R.N. P031230217644720 dated 31.01.2023 under Air Act, 1981, which is adequate upto 30.09.2027.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="margin-right: 4.7pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 115%;"> The industry was visited by the officers of this office on 16.02.2023 and it was observed that the industry was in operation during visit. The industry has installed 2 nos. induction furnaces of capacity 0.500 TPH and 0.300 TPH both with common bag filter house as APCD. The industry has also installed 1 no. shot blast machine with bag filter house as APCD. The industry has also installed one D.G Set of capacity 125 KVA with canopy. The industry has installed other general machinery in its premises. There is no source of generation of trade effluent. Domestic effluent is being discharged into sewer. The industry has already submitted approved building plan from Director of Factories Punjab.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;"> Keeping In view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 30.09.2027 with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board.
