<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="margin-left: 0in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: 45.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;">It is submitted that the industry has applied for fresh of 'Consent to Operate' under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Planters and Sanitary Accessories @ 800 Kgs/day by using Fresh and recycled plastic granules @ 800 Kgs/day as raw material under orange category with requisite documents. The industry has deposited has deposited Rs. 2300/- vide R. No. N142211510917898 dated 22.05.2021 & Rs. 25200/- vide R. No. N151211517226766 dated 31.05.2021 under the Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 7200/- vide R. No. N162211531812877 dated 11.06.2021 & Rs. 25200/- vide R. No. N149211516468659 dated 29.05.2021, Rs. 7200/- vide UTR no. N162211531818230 dated 11.06.2021 under Air Act, 1981. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The consent fee deposited by the industry is adequate upto 30.09.2027 against the value of fixed assets of Rs. 219.83 lakhs as on 02.11.2022 as per CA certificate 2022 submitted by the industry. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 0in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: 45.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The industry has submitted copy of PSPCL bill as proof of commissioning of the unit in March, 2017. The industry has got its building plan approved from competent person of Director of Factories, Govt. of Punjab.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 0in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: 45.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The industry was visited by the AEE of this office on 21.02.2023 and contacted Sh. Rajiv Garg, Proprietor of the industry at site. During visit, it was observed as under: - </span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt 1.25in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">There is no source of trade effluent</span><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"> and</span><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"> <span lang="EN-US">only domestic effluent is being discharged into </span></span><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">public </span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">sewer. </span><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">The cooling water is being recirculated. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt 1.25in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">The industry has installed 9 no. injection moulding machines in its premises however, no APCD and stack height has been provided with said machines. </span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 0in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: 45.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;">The industry is complying with the provision of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and is not complying with the provisions of Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 as mentioned that point no. 3 above.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 0in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: 45.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;">In view of the above, SEE, ZO maybe recommended as under: <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></p>
