<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">It is intimated that the industry is a medium scale orange category induction furnace unit and was granted consents vide no. CTOW/Renewal/LDH2/2018/7399059 dated 14.5.2018 valid up to 31.03.2023 under Water Act, 1974 & vide no. CTOA/Renewal/LDH2/2018/7398928 dated 14.5.2018 valid upto 31.03.2023 under Air Act, 1981 for the manufacturing of M.S. Ingots @ 60 MT/day, Casting @ 15 MT/day, Wire Rod/Flate/Square/Round @ 115 MT/day.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981 alongwith documents.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The industry has deposited Rs. 210000/- vide online receipt no. 244911337 <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>dated 20.2.2023 under Water Act, 1974<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>and Rs. 210500/- (Rs 210000 consent fee + 500 Form fee) vide online receipt no. 211600199<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>dated 20.2.2023 under Air Act, 1981 against the fixed assets of Rs. 3655.78 Lacs, which is adequate upto 31.3.2026. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>The site of industry was visited by the AEE of this office on 22.02.2023 and it was observed as under:-</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -22.5pt; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt 58.5pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The air emission sample of the induction furnace of 6 TPH was collected by this office on 23.8.2022 and as per analysis report the SPM level was 72 mg/NM3 against the prescribed limit of 150 mg/NM3.</span></p>

These furnaces were not in operation during the visit.</span></p>
