Notification for industrial area-C. Earlier, the industry was visited by the officer of this office on 24.08.2022 & report sent to Higher Authority. The industry was issued directions u/s 33-A of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 for its closure and PSPCL authority was also directed to disconnect the power supply available the industry/premises vide letter no. 2891-92 dated 21.10.2022.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Now, the industry has applied for consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 with requisite documents i.e. Approved building plan, <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Rent Deed, Revenue documents, Manufacturing process, Request letter and MOU with CETP operator i.e. M/s JBR Technology Pvt. Ltd., Phase-VIII, Focal Point,<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Ludhiana on 14.07.2018 and further its renewal on 13.07.2021 for lifting its trade effluent generated from electroplating process and TDCO no. The industry has deposited consent to operate fee for Rs. 14800/- vide R. No. 153899487 dated 03.10.2022 (Rs. 13200/- under Water Act, 1974, Rs. 1100/- as NOC regularization fee & Rs. 500/- application form fee. Consent fee deposited by the industry is adequate upto 31.03.2025.</span></p>

Ltd. Focal Point, Ludhiana for lifting its trade effluent generated from electroplating process @ 4000 litre per month.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has installed water meter on its fresh supply of water leading to electroplating process and water reading was 148.47 Kl during visit. </span></p>

During visit, approximately 1200 litre of effluent was remained in the tank.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">6.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has submitted TDCO no. 129/1016 dated 13.11.2022 issued by PSCPL authority and as per TDCO electric connection of the industry has been disconnected on 08.12.2022.</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry for six months with usual conditions and with the special condition that the industry shall maintain the record of fresh water consumption & trade effluent got lifted by CETP operator on daily basis and entire effluent shall got lifted to CETP operator regularly.</span></p>
