<p style="text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">It is submitted that the industry has provided common APCD for both induction furnaces & laddle furnace. As per the record file, the industry has submitted adequacy certificate of APCD, vide reference number PSCST/CC/441 dated 21/08/2020, attached to furnaces having capacity 20 T/heat, 6 T/heat and 1 LRF having capacity as 20 T/heat. </span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">As per the record file and application, the industry has not submitted any proposal of APCD for <span style="background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;">metal recovery section (slag crushing and sieving process). The matter was taken up with the representative of the industry and they informed that they will place the machinery in the enclosed shed so that no dust emissions are emitted in the atmosphere. Further, he submitted that they will take up the matter with the fabricator about the installation of APCD if possible and submit compliance to the Board.</span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif'; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;">Since, the application is old and to avoid pendency, the same may be sent to higher authorities.</span></p>
