CTOW/Renewal/PKT/2021/15490021 & CTOA/Renewal/PKT/2021/15490348 dated 01/04/2021, which are valid upto 30/09/2025 respectively.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 24px;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"> It is intimated that earlier the Consent to Establish"(NOC) for Expansion under the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 was granted to the Stone Crusher vide online reference no. CTE/EXP/PKT/2023/20606255 dated 31/12/2022, which was valid upto 30/12/2023 for the production of Washed Crushed Bajri @ 14000 CFT/day, Washed Sand @ 5000 CFT/day & Waste Silt @ 1000 CFT/day by using River Bed Material @ 20000 CFT/Day under orange category.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 24px;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"> Now, the industry has applied for obtaining varied consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 & Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 for the production of Washed Crushed Bajri @ 14000 CFT/day, Washed Sand @ 5000 CFT/day & Waste Silt @ 1000 CFT/day by using River Bed Material @ 20000 CFT/Day under orange category.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 24px;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"> The industry has deposited Rs. 54,500/- vide UTR No. N048232336608796 dated 17/02/2023 & Rs. 54,500/- vide UTR No. N048232335812078 dated 17/02/2023 as consent to operate fee under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 respectively against gross value of fixed assets of Rs. 2,64,62,425/- as on 31/01/2023 as per value of C.A. certificate submitted by the industry and same are adequate upto 31/01/2028 under both Acts.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 24px;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"> The industry was visited by Assistant Environmental Engineer on 22/02/2023 and compliance of code of practice as observed during visit:-</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 21.45pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.25pt; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span lang="EN-US" style="line-height: 150%;">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="line-height: 150%;">The industry has installed the proposed machinery for which the industry was granted consent to establish for expansion. The total machinery of the stone crusher has been installed and is ready to operate. </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 21.45pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.25pt; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span lang="EN-US" style="line-height: 150%;">3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="line-height: 150%;">The stone crusher has fully covered the dust emitting points like Jaws/rotopactor.</span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 21.45pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 24px;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"> </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span lang="EN-US" style="line-height: 115%;"> The project proponent has submitted Approved Building Plan from the competent person under the Punjab Factories Act, 1948 (Agenda Note is also attached herewith).</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 24px;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">In view of above, it is recommended that the varied consent to operate under Water (Prevention& control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 30/09/2027 with suitable along with special conditions :-</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 21.45pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.25pt; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span lang="EN-US" style="line-height: 150%;">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="line-height: 150%;">The stone crusher shall comply with the orders of NGT in O.A. No 57/2020 or any relevant orders of Competent Authority in related matter.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 21.45pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.25pt; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span lang="EN-US" style="line-height: 150%;">2. </span>The stone crusher shall maintain the plantation cover around the periphery so as to comply with the code of practice. </span></p> |
