It is submitted that the subject cited industry is an existing small scale cold rolling mill, (Red Category) and was granted consents under the Water Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/FGS/2018/8187445 dated 18/09/2018 and vide no. CTOA/Renewal/FGS/2018/8187205 dated 18/09/2018 under the Air Act, 1981 both extended upto 30/06/2023 for the manufacturing of CR Strips @ 8 TPD & ERW pipes @ 5 TPD with certain conditions for CA certificate having cost of fixed assets as Rs. 387.52 Lacs.
Thereafter, the industry has also obtained NOC for expansion under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTE/Exp/FGS/2019/9511518 dated 10/04/2019, valid upto 09/04/2020 for capital investment of Rs. 73.16 Lacs to manufacture CR Strips @ 12 TPD & ERW pipes @ 20 TPD.
Now, the industry has implemented the proposed expansion to enhance its production capacity, but, it has now submit CA certificate having cost of fixed assets as Rs. 384.02 lacs. Kindly clarify.
