The industry has its own rice husk discharging area which is laying vacant.</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; margin-bottom: 12.0pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 49.05pt; line-height: 18.0pt; background: white;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">Thus, the industry is not complying with point III(v)(a) & III(v)(b) of the code of practice prescribed for such type of units by Government of Punjab vide order dated 15.10.2013 and has not provided sampling platform with the APCD provided with the dryer section.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; margin-bottom: 12.0pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 49.05pt; line-height: 18.0pt; background: white;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">Keeping the above in view, it is recommended that the a</span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif'; font-size: 12pt; text-indent: -18pt;">pplication of the industry for obtaining ‘Consent to Operate’ under the Water Act, 1974 may be refused.</span></p> |
