As per the DTP report orange category units are permissible in the agriculture zone with the condition that there are no 15 residential houses within 100 meter and 15 residential houses within 250 meter of the site. The industry has submitted siting report from SDM, Ferozepur vide letter no. 2106/M dated 09.12.2022 as per which the site is located 100 meter outside village's limit and there is no Zoo, approved residential area, religious place, historical place, educational institute & wild life sanctuary within 100 meter radius of the site. As per the report, the site is also located outside MC limit. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>The site of the industry was visited by the Officer of the Board on 15.02.2023 and as per the report the construction of building was ongoing at site. The visiting officer has certified that there is no MC limit, village phirni/lal lakhir & residential area (15 pucca houses) within 100 meter of the proposed site as such the site is suitable for establishment of such type of unit. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>The industry has proposed to install wood fired furnace with machinery in the process. The industry has proposed to install cyclone followed by wet scrubber as APCD with the cooling drum & sieve of the product manufacturing machinery in which all the three products i.e. potash, Organic manure and gypsum granules can be manufactured. The proposed APCD are adequate in principle to control the emissions from the manufacturing process. The industry has submitted undertaking that the lab section will be provided for testing of manufactured products and the effluent @ 50 liter /day will be generated from the lab section will be disposed by providing solar evaporation pond of size 8'x4'x1' made of stainless steel. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>In view of above, if approved, the consent to establish (NOC) under the provisions of Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for one year for the establishment of unit for manufacturing of Potash @ 35 MTD, Organic Manure@ 10 MTD and Gypsum Granuels @ 5 MTD by using Sugar Molasses @ 21 MTD, Gypsum Powder @ 13.25 MTD, China Clay @ 2.25 MTD, Dolamit Powder @ 1.75 MTD, Fly Ash @ 3 MTD, City Waste Compose @ 3.75 MTD, Cow Dung @ 5 MTD and Water @ 0.51 KLD as raw material, with following conditions:-</span></p>
