<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: 0cm; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-fareast; background: white; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN;">Kindly peruse the reply submitted by RO, wherein the RO has clarified that the built-up area of the components of the project which are to be developed/ constructed by the project proponent at its own level is less than 20,000 sqm and the overall built-up area of the entire project including the individual plots (based on FAR) shall be less than 1,50,000 sqm and the project is not covered under the ambit of EIA notification dated 14.09.2006. Further, the RO has clarified that the terminal STP of capacity 5 MLD installed by MC, Kurali has adequate capacity to handle the excess treated effluent to be discharged from the said project.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-fareast; background: white; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN;">In consideration of the same and the report/ recommendations sent by RO; </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; background: white; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN;">if approved, the consent to establish (NOC) from pollution angle under the provision of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the project proponent for establishment of the Township project namely “The North Chandigarh”, for one year i.e. upto 07.02.2024, subject to suitable conditions and the following additional conditions that:</span></p>

SAS Nagar (in total area measuring 115 Kanal-19 Marle or 14.49 acres)</span> Consisting of Residential Plots @ 163 Nos., Independent Floors (S+3 Config.) on 52 Plots, EWS Plots @ 72 Nos., Commercial SCO on 26 Plots, Commercial Booth @ 8 Nos. and Community Centre @ 1 No., only.</p>

The biodegradable component shall be treated by providing mechanical composter of adequate capacity at site to produce compost, which will be disposed of/reused in an environmentally sound manner and the non-biodegradable solid waste shall also be disposed of in an environmentally sound manner.</span></p>
