The industry was earlier granted consent to establish under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTE/Fresh/LDH2/2022/19603442 dated 23/08/2022 valid upto 22/08/2023 with following special conditions :-</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 18.4px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 18.4px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry shall comply with the conditions of DTP certificate issued vide no1634 dated 12.07.2022.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 18.4px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 18.4px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry shall provide adequate APCD as per feasibility report PSCST to contain the emission within limits as prescribed by the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 18.4px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 18.4px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry shall submit building plan approved from the Competent Authority under the provisions of the Punjab Factories Rules, 1952 before the commissioning of the unit.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 18.4px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">4.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 18.4px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry shall develop adequate plantation area for discharge of domestic effluent</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 18.4px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif'; color: red;"> </span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 18.4px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';"> Now, the industry has applied for fresh consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 alongwith requisite documents. The industry has deposited Rs. 16,200/- vide UTR No. BARBS23046265297 dated 15.02.2023 under Water Act, 1974 & Rs. 16,200/- vide UTR No. BARBS23046265239 dated 15.02.2023 against the fixed assets of Rs. 37.04 Lacs, which is adequate upto 30.09.2026.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 18.4px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';"> The site of industry was visited by the AEE of this office on 25.02.2023 and it was observed as under :-</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 0.75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry was not in operation during visit.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 0.75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry has installed one cupola furnace with wet cap as APCD and one shot blasting machine with inbuilt bag house as APCD. The industry has submitted completion certificate from PSCST regarding installation of wet cap as APCD on the cupola furnace vide no., PSCST/TFD/530 dated 10.11.2022.</span></p>
<p class="ydp8b25cf8eyiv6589084485ydp48a32f10msonormal" style="margin: 5pt 0in 0.0001pt 0.75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; background: white;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry installed one D.G set of capacity 250 KVA with canopy and adequate stack height.</span></p>
<p class="ydp8b25cf8eyiv6589084485ydp48a32f10msonormal" style="margin: 5pt 0in 0.0001pt 0.75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Helvetica, 'sans-serif';">4.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry has submitted letter issued by DTP, Ludhiana vide no</span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">. 1634 dated 12.07.2022 which mentions that as per the approved Master Plan, Ludhiana (2007-31) the site falls in Industrial zone.</span><strong><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';"> </span></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 0.75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">5.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">Domestic effluent is being discharge onto land for plantation through septic tank. There is no generation of trade effluent.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 0.75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">6.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry has submitted the approved building plan from the approved architect of Director of Factories, Punjab.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 0.25in; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';"> </span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif'; font-size: 12pt;"> </span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif'; font-size: 12pt;">Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that renewal of consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 may be granted upto 30.09.2026 with usual conditions.</span></p>
