<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 145%; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: 463.5pt; margin: 3.45pt 0in .0001pt .5in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 145%; font-family: Symbol; mso-fareast-font-family: Symbol; mso-bidi-font-family: Symbol;">·<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 145%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has again applied for obtaining the renewal of consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 198L vide separate applications dated 22.12.2022. The application under the Air Act, 1981 is under process with the Board and the application under The Water Act, 1974 was refused vide certificate no. CTOW/Renewal/FZR/2023/20710752 dated 03.02.2023, due to reasons mentioned therein. No further communication has been received for further action in the matter. </span></p>

The details of reasons recorded in the refusal certificate and the industry’s reply submitted in this regard with the application is as per Table-A attached. </span></p>

Accordingly, clarification was raised on the application on 22.02.2023. </span></p>

Limited, Vill. Mansoorwal, tehsil Zira, Distt Ferozepur, Punjab. He submitted a copy of the Order issued in this regard. </span></p>

CPCB/RD/VIP Ref/2023:364 dated 21.02.2023 has informed the Board that CPCB team alongwith CGWB team will be visiting the site of the subject cited industry w.e.f. February 22-24, 2023, for investigation of the matter within and outside the premises of the factory. Further, the Board has been requested that the subject cited industry may be asked to cooperate and provide information required during visit, besides providing required assistance to CPCB team, for smooth investigation of the matter. Accordingly, the industry was requested vide this office letter no. 749 dated 21.02.2023 to cooperate and provide information required to the CPCB team during visit to the site on aforesaid dates.</span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> No further communication has been received from CPCB & CGWB regarding monitoring carried out by them at site. </span></p>
