<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 1in; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;">Earlier, the Consent to Establish was granted to the industry for manufacturing of HDPE Bags and Laminated Pouches which was valid upto 15/08/2023 subject to suitable conditions.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 1in; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;">Now, the industry has applied for fresh Consent to Operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The industry has submitted CA Certificate regarding fixed assets as on 21/12/2022, a Lease deed of the land, a Manufacturing process flow chart, Site plan/location plan and the requisite fee which is valid for a further 10-year period.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 1in; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;">The industry was visited by the undersigned on 28/02/2023 and it was observed that the industry has installed all the machinery on its premises. The industry is engaged in the manufacturing of packaging material from HDPE Film. There is no source of Air pollution and Water pollution and the domestic effluent is being discharged into the sewer. The industry is situated in Focal point, Ludhiana.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 1in; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;">In view of above, if approved, Consent to Operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30/06/2032 subject to suitable conditions and additional conditions as under:-</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span><!--[endif]-->The industry shall not install any machinery for manufacturing of Single Use Plastic.</p>
