<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="mso-list: l2 level1 lfo2; margin: 0cm -9.4pt .0001pt 25.1pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">This </span><span style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;">Consent to Establish (NOC) is being granted to the industry for production of Card Board/Mix Board in total land area of 07 Kanal 8 Marlas bearing khasra no. 48//3 (7-8) falling in the revenue estate of Bareta, District Mansa.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="mso-list: l2 level1 lfo2; margin: 0cm -9.4pt .0001pt 25.1pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;">The industry shall comply with Standard Operating Procedures framed by CPCB for utilization of primary ETP sludge of pulp & paper mill (category 32.3 of schedule-I) of HOWM Rules, 2016.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="mso-list: l2 level1 lfo2; margin: 0cm -9.4pt .0001pt 25.1pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;">The industry shall ensure the compliance of zoning regulations of the Master Plan to be notified by the Department of Town & Country Planning, Punjab.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="mso-list: l2 level1 lfo2; margin: 0cm -9.4pt .0001pt 25.1pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;">The industry shall not procure and process hazardous waste of category 32.3 without obtaining authorization as well as registration certificate-cum-passbook under the Hazardous and Other Waste (Management & Transboundary) Rules, 2016.</span></p>

Some raw material such as paddy straw, waste jute bags, were found stored at site. However, ETP sludge was not found stored at site. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="line-height: 13.3pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo3; margin: 0cm -9.4pt .0001pt 25.1pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">The industry has provided settling tanks as ETP with provision to re-use its entire effluent in the process as recycle. </span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1; margin: 0cm -9.4pt .0001pt 7.1pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: Symbol; mso-fareast-font-family: Symbol; mso-bidi-font-family: Symbol; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">·<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">Keeping in view of above, it recommended that case may be sent to Zonal Office, Bathinda with recommendation to grant the consents to operate under the </span><span style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;">provisions of Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 </span><span lang="EN-US" style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">for the operation of mix board mill with production capacity </span><span style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;">Card Board / Mix Board</span><span lang="EN-US" style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;"> @ 8 MTD from by<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>using raw material </span><span style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;">Primary ETP Sludge of Pulp & Paper Mill @ 5 MTD, Paddy Straw @ 3.25 MTD and Jute Bags/Cow Dung @ 3.25 MTD</span><span lang="EN-US" style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">, for a period of six months, with suitable conditions along with special condition that the industry will obtain authorization under the provisions of HOWM Rules, 2016 as well as passbook for processing the ETP sludge of paper mill as hazardous waste.</span></p>
