<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif';">It is submitted that the industry is small scale green category unit and </span><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">is engaged in manufacturing of auto parts</span><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif';">. The industry has applied afresh for consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for production auto parts @ 1.8 TPD by using MS Round @ 02 TPD as raw material through OCMMS on 09.02.2023 under the VDS scheme of the Board vide its memo no. 394 dated 21.11.2022. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif';">The industry has deposited Rs. 38,100/- vide R.No. YESB22844536926 dated 11.10.2022 under Water Act, 1974, Rs. 38,100/- vide R.No. YESB22844540832 dated 11.10.2022 under Air Act, 1981, Rs. 1,800/- vide R.No. YESB22844536926 dated 11.10.2022 as NOC regularization fee against the gross value of fixed assets Rs. 73,48,429/- and plant & machinery Rs. 55,40,438/- as on 31.12.2022. The total fee of Rs. 78,000/- is adequate upto 31.12.2028 after deducting Rs. 5000/- under VDS scheme for each acts and Rs. 2900/- as NOC regulatzation fee as per Board order no. 524 dated 29.10.2018 and VDS scheme of the Board vide its memo no. 394 dated 21.11.2022. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif';">The industry has submitted copy of electricity bill mentioning date of commencement as 11.01.2011, as proof of date of commissioning of the industry. The industry is surrounded by various other industrial units, having valid consents from the Board. As such the site is suitable for establishment of such industries. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif';">Accordingly, the industry was visited by undersigned on 24.02.2023 and it was observed as under:-</span></p>

<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 6.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: normal; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">There is no generation of trade effluent and only domestic effluent is being discharged into sewer. </span></li>

Daljit Raheja competent person recognized by Director of Factories, Punjab.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-bottom: 6.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: normal; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Verdana; mso-bidi-font-family: Verdana;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">9.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif';">The industry is located in designated Industrial Area i.e. Phase-8, Focal Point, Ludhiana. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif';">In view of above, it is recommended that the consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted up to 31.12.2028 with suitable conditions.</span></p>
