CTE/Fresh/JAL/2019/10205133 dated 11.06.2019 which is valid upto 10.06.2020 and for the processing of paddy @ 10 TPH. The industry already has consent to operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Fresh/JAL/2020/12159846 dated 05.03.2020 valid upto 30.09.2024.</p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 151%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1; margin: .35pt 15.35pt .0001pt .5in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span><!--[endif]-->Now the rice Sheller has applied for fresh consent to operate under Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 through OCMMS of the Board for same production capacity.</p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 151%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1; margin: .35pt 15.35pt .0001pt .5in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->4.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span><!--[endif]-->The rice sheller has Rs. 75600/- vide UTR. no 000129874920 dated 07.12.2022, Rs. 18900/- vide UTR/reference no 608907006 dated 22.02.2023 under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Rs. 10800/- vide UTR. no 000129876465 dated 07.12.2022 as NOC fee. The fee adequacy is valid upto 30.09.2028.</p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 151%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1; margin: .35pt 15.35pt .0001pt .5in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->5.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span><!--[endif]-->The site of the industry was visited on 27.02.2023 & it was observed that it generates only domestic effluent and same is discharged onto land for plantation after septic tank.</p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 151%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1; margin: .35pt 15.35pt .0001pt .5in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->6.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span><!--[endif]-->There is no generation of trade effluent.</p>

<p class="MsoBodyText" style="line-height: 151%; margin: .35pt 15.35pt .0001pt .5in;">Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 upto 30.09.2028 with suitable conditions and special conditions that: -</p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 151%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2; margin: .35pt 15.35pt .0001pt .5in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><em><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 151%;">1.<span style="font-style: normal; font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></em><!--[endif]--><em><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 151%;">The industry shall bound to abide by the provisions of Master Plan, Jalandhar for Nakodar area.</span></em></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 151%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2; margin: .35pt 15.35pt .0001pt .5in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><em><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 151%;">2.<span style="font-style: normal; font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></em><!--[endif]--><em><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 151%;">The industry will continue to comply with the new code of practice prescribed by Punjab Govt. Department of Science, Technology and Environment vide order no. 932 dated 15.10.2013.</span></em></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 151%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2; margin: .35pt 15.35pt .0001pt .5in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><em><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 151%;">3.<span style="font-style: normal; font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></em><!--[endif]--><em><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 151%;">The industry shall upgrade or install adequate air pollution control device to achieve the amended emission standard, if any amendment made.</span></em></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 151%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2; margin: .35pt 15.35pt .0001pt .5in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><em><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 151%;">4.<span style="font-style: normal; font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></em><!--[endif]--><em><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 151%;">The industry shall not make any expansion inside the present premises without obtaining prior permission from the Board.</span></em></p>
