The maximum wastewater generation can be 45x300=10.8 KLD. <strong>It is clear from the above table that the unit has adequate land for disposal of treated wastewater in summer season, but inadequate in rainy season and winter season, however, the unit has permission from Municipal Council, Zirakpur issued vide letter no. 2147 dated 06.09.2012 for discharge of treated wastewater into MC sewer.</strong> At present, the unit is discharging all the treated wastewater onto land for plantation and no wastewater (treated / untreated) is being discharged into MC sewer. However, during rainy season the unit may require discharging off excess treated wastewater into MC sewer.</span></p>
