<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 6pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 were granted to the industry for operation of hot mix plant @ 60 TPH on 15.07.2022 (valid upto 14.01.2023). Also, the PSPCL authorities were directed to restore the electric supply of the hot mix plant temporarily upto 14.01.2023. Also, the PWD & the Mandi Board were directed to allot/restore already allotted work upto 14.01.2023.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 6pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">Now the hot mix plant has applied for obtaining consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 6pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The HMP was visited by the officer of the Board on 24.02.2023 and it has been reported that the hot mix plant was not in operation. No electric connection available with the HMP except single phase power connection for the labour quarter, which was intact. Dust collector followed by wet scrubber installed as APCD with the rotary drum, which was in operationable condition. Adequate stack height provided with the APCD and with the bitumen heaters. Vehicles movement area stabilized. Septic tank provided for treatment of the domestic effluent and DG set of capacity 125 KVA has been kept in acoustic room.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 6pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">It has been further reported that the HMP is complying with the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 and with the code of practice prescribed for such type of units.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">In view of above, if approved:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';"> 1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">Consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 be further extended for 06 months, subject to the specific condition that the HMP will get its air emission sample analyzed from the Board's lab/Board's approved lab as per the policy of the Board and shall intimate prior operational status of the HMP to the Regional Office, Bathinda of the Board.</span></p>
