<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">The institute has deposited Rs. 210000/- vide UTR No. HDFCR52023021683435003 dated 16.02.2023 under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Rs. 252000/- vide UTR No. HDFCR52023021683439945 dated 16.02.2023 under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 including NOC regularization fee of Rs. 42000/.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">The institute has submitted a letter issued by DTP, SAS Nagar vide memo No. 1353 dated 27.07.2022 for NOC regarding CLU for Khasra No.’s 714 & 734 in Village Siswan (Hadbast No. 338), Tehsil Kharar, District SAS Nagar, Punjab in which mentioned that:</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><em>“In reference to the above stated letters and documents submitted by you in this office, it is to be informed that as per the Report of Naib Tehsildar Majri dated 21.07.2022, out of Khasra Number 714 (116-1), as per records khara number 714 Min (108-2) is Gairmumkin Abadi within Lal Lakir and 714 Min (7-19) is Gairmumkin road. Also out of Khasra number 734 (34-0), as per records khasra number 734 Min (27-4) is Gairmumkin Abadi within Lal Lakir and 734 Min (6-16) is Gairmumkin road in the above state khasra numbers, school and hostel building has been constructed under Dalhousie Public School Educational Society, Dalhousie, District Chamba, HP and Dalhousie Public School Siswan, District SAS Nagar. And being in Lal Lakir it doesn’t attract the provisions of Section 80 & 81 of PRTPD Act 1995 for Change of Landuse.</em></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">The institute has submitted an undertaking, in which it has been mentioned that:</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><em>“It is certified that Dalhousie Public School, Siswan, Distt Mohali, Pb, under the management of Dalhousie Public School Educational Society, Dalhousie, Distt Chamba, H.P. ( Regd.) is planning to operationalise its school project in January, 2024.</em></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><em>The Management has applied for NOC from Punjab Pollution Control board and by oversight entered 1000 students facility where as initially it will be catering to 300 students. However, in future as the strength increases, the Management will apply for the enhanced capacity of the STP.</em></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><em>The treated water will be used for irrigation purposes of the green area in and around the area adjoining to scholl land (copy of registration for said land is attached).”</em></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">The institute has submitted completion certificate of STP of capacity 30 KLD. The project proponent has submitted building plans approved by Competent Authority. The project proponent has proposed to utilize treated wastewater onto land for plantation. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">The site of the institute was visited by undersigned on 01.03.2023. During the visit, it was observed as under:</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal;"> </span><!--[endif]-->The institute has completed the almost all the construction work and finishing work was under progress. The project proponent has submitted that they have started construction of the school in the year 2017 and will be completed by March 2023. The student intake will start from April 2024. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal;"> </span><!--[endif]-->The institute has submitted that at start there will be around 300 students and including staff of 50, if 200 are considered residential and 150 are day scholars, the total wastewater generation will be 27 KLD and the institute has provided STP of capacity 30 KLD based on Direct Current Ionization Technology and seems adequate.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">In view of the above, it is recommended that consent to operate for operation of school for 300 students under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted upto 30.09.2025 subject to suitable conditions and following additional conditions:</span></p>
