<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; margin-left: -.25in; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">It is submitted that the HCF was visited by undersigned on 02.03.2023 and found that it has provided pre-treatment with 1-2% sodium hypochlorite solution to its liquid waste generated from its OT section before discharging the same into public sewer. No discharge of effluent was observed at the time of visit. The representative of HCF informed that merely 3-4 no. patients on daily basis are being dealt in OT and therefore the quantity of effluent generation is very less. He provided the record of same as maintained in register. Copy attached. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; margin-left: -.25in; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; background: white;">In view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974, upto 31.12.2023 with suitable conditions as under:</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; margin-left: 38.25pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -20.25pt; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN; mso-bidi-language: PA;">1</span><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN; mso-bidi-language: PA;">.</span><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN; mso-bidi-language: PA;"> </span><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN; mso-bidi-language: PA;">If the sample fails to achieve the prescribed standards as per Schedule-II of the Bio-Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016 as amended in 2018 and 2019, HCF will install appropriate and adequate system to achieve the prescribed standards by 31.03.2022.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; margin-left: 38.25pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -20.25pt; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN; mso-bidi-language: PA;">2.</span><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN; mso-bidi-language: PA;"> </span><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The HCF will use 1-2% sodium hypo-chlorite solution for disinfection of chemical liquid waste generated in the HCF and keep the record of the consumption of the Sodium hypochlorite solution.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; margin-left: 38.25pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -20.25pt; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN; mso-bidi-language: PA;">3.</span><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN; mso-bidi-language: PA;"> </span><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The Lab shall also comply with the new Bio-Medical Waste (Management& Handling) Rules, 2016 as amended from time to time, all the times in true letter and sprits.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; margin-left: 38.25pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -20.25pt; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN; mso-bidi-language: PA;">4.</span><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN; mso-bidi-language: PA;"> </span><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The HCF shall ensure that the agreement executed with the operator of the CBWTF shall be kept valid at all the times till this authorization is valid and submit a copy of the said agreement to the Board as and when the validity of the same is got extended, within 15 days from the date on which the validity of the agreement has been extended.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; margin-left: 38.25pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -20.25pt; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN; mso-bidi-language: PA;">5.</span><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN; mso-bidi-language: PA;"> </span><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The HCF will submit Annual Report on Bio-Medical Waste Management in Form-IV by 30th June every year.</span></p> |
