Thereafter, the palace was issued notice with hearing before SEE , ZO Jalandhar 05.04.2022 and proceedings of hearing was conveyed to the palace.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Now, the marriage palace has applied for renewal of consents and as per agenda note the industry was visited on 15.2.2023 and reported that the palace has installed Oil &amp; grease traps for waste water and after that the wastewater of the unit is discharged into MC Sewer. </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11pt;">&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; </span><span style="font-size: 11pt;">In view of report of Regional office, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted </span><span style="font-size: 11pt;">&nbsp;</span><span style="font-size: 11pt;">to the marriage palace upto 30.09.2027 with suitable conditions and special conditions that:-</span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The marriage palace shall comply with mechanism / guidelines for control of pollution and enforcement of environmental norms as issued by PPCB vide office order no. 64 dated 02/02/2021.</p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The project proponent shall obtain necessary permission from Punjab Water Regulation &amp; Development Authority (PWRDA) for extraction of ground water.</p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The project proponent shall provide efficient fixtures to control consumption of water and shall reuse maximum treated water for non-portable purpose/ gardening etc.</p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: 8.0pt; </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The project proponent shall properly handle and manage the solid wastages as per the provisions of the Municipal Solid Waste Rules 2016 and ensure that the solid waste is segregated &amp; </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The project proponent shall ensure that hazardous waste (used oil, used batteries) are collected properly &amp; disposed off to the authorized recyclers registered with MoEF &amp; CC / CPCB and having valid operating license of Punjab Pollution Control Board.</p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: 8.0pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; </span>make all necessary arrangements for compliance of Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules, 2000 &amp; shall obtain required necessary permission from designated authorities for operation of DJ etc. as per provisions of Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules, 2000.
