<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The industry is a small scale red category unit and was granted consent under Water Act, 1974 valid upto 30.06.2018 and Air Act 1981 valid upto 19.12.2015 for manufacturing of casting and parts of hand pump @ 0.9 MT/day by installing 1 No. copula furnace with inbuilt wet scrubber and 1 No. Shot blasting machine with inbuilt bag house filter and 1 No. DG set of capacity 125 KVA with canopy and 1 No. electroplating section.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consents and as per agenda note the industry was visited on 22.02.2023 and observed that the industry has installed 1 no. coal fired copula furnace with wet cap as APCD,1 no. electric shot blasting machine with inbuilt bag house filter as APCD and adequate stack height. The industry has installed 1 no. D.G set of capacity 125 KVA with canopy and adequate stack height.</span><span style="font-size: 11pt;"> </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.06.2024 with suitable conditions and special conditions that:-</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: normal; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt;">The industry shall ensure that hazardous wastes of all categories are collected properly & disposed off to the authorized companies by executing agreements and shall maintain all the records as per provisions of the HWM Rules.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: normal; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt;">The industry shall not throw burn or burry any solid wastes in open outside premises or in drain / water bodies.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: normal; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">5)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt;">The industry shall promote use of alternatives of single use plastics (SUP) and awareness to discourage use of plastic.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: normal; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">6)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt;">The industry shall ensure that there are no usages of single use plastic- thermocol disposable items such as water bottles / water pouches/water cups, plates, forks, spoons, straw etc. and single use decorating material made of plastic-thermocol or any other non-biodegradable material in the premises. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: normal; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">7)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt;">The industry shall properly handle and manage the solid wastages as per the provisions of the Municipal Solid Waste Rules 2016 and ensure that the solid waste is segregated & disposed of in an environmentally sound manner.
