The industry has installed STP for the treatment of wastewater generated from the toilets of the quarters. STP was in operation during visit and sample was collected from outlet of STP. No water meter & energy meter was provided with STP. No record of operation of STP is being maintained. The industry has provided a byepass near the collection tank from where untreated wastewater was being disposed off along with treated water onto land for plantation developed by industry outside its premises at the distance of 100-150 mtr. The color of the sample collected from outlet of STP was yellowish in color indicating that the STP is not operated properly. The plantation area was also visited and it was observed that the around 1 acre area was developed as per Karnal Technology and lot of wild growth was observed in the area. </span></p>
