<p style="text-align: justify; background: white;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; color: #5d5d5d; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;">2. </span><span style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';">The PP shall install the smog gun to control the dust emission generated from the construction activities of the project.</span></p>

<p style="text-align: justify; background: white;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; color: #5d5d5d; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;">3)The industry shall obtain the necessary clearance for the abstraction of groundwater from the Punjab Water Regulation & Development Authority (PWRDA).</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';">4)The promoter company shall ensure compliance with the Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016, and being the bulk waste generator shall ensure segregation of solid waste at source, facilitate collection of segregated waste in separate streams, handover recyclable material to either the authorized waste pickers or the authorized recyclers as prescribed in Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; background: white;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; color: #5d5d5d; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;">5). The bio-degradable waste shall be processed, treated, and disposed of through a mechanical composter. The residual waste shall be given to the waste collectors or agency as directed by the local body.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; background: white;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; color: #5d5d5d; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;"> 6). The promoter company shall not consume any fuel except HSD for DG set, for burning purposes without the prior written permission of the Board.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; color: #5d5d5d;">7) The promoter company shall ensure that the total built-up area of construction being carried out by it or any different builders may not be greater than 20,000 sqm, otherwise, the project as such is covered under category 8(a) of the schedule appended to the EIA notification and project proponent of the building and construction project is required to obtain the environmental clearance, failure which, the promoter company/builder shall be liable for action for the violation of EIA notification dated14/09/2006.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; background: white;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; color: #5d5d5d; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;"> </span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; color: #5d5d5d;">8) The promoter company shall ensure that the total built-up area of all individual projects/plots combined together is not more than 1,50,000 sqm, otherwise, the project as such is covered under category 8(b) of the schedule appended to the EIA notification and project proponent of the area development project is required to obtain the environmental clearance, failure which, the promoter company shall be liable for action for the violation of EIA notification dated14/09/2006.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; background: white;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; color: #5d5d5d; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;">9)The project proponent shall not discharge any domestic effluent (treated or untreated) into choe / drain /river or in any inland surface water at any time or any other unauthorized place by any unauthorized means and shall explore the possibility of reduction of quantum of abstraction of groundwater by reusing the treated wastewater in the various activities.</span></p>
