<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; mso-bidi-language: PA;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The industry is a medium scale red category unit and was granted consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>& Air Act, 1981 both valid upto 31.03.2023 for manufacturing of Ethanol @ 0.7 KLD from Rice Straw @ 3 TPD as raw material with recovery boiler using black liquor & filter press cake etc as fuel and equipped with Gravity Settling Chamber as APCD with boiler and adequate stack <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>alongwith generation of trade effluent @ 10 KLD, to be used onto land for plantation after ETP, subject to special condition that the industry shall not operate its plant till the industry comply with all the in-completions as reported in the notice issued and shall submit compliance report to the Board before restarting the operation of industry.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; mso-bidi-language: PA;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent under Water Act, 1974 through OCMMS. As per agenda note the industry the industry was visited on 10/02/2023 and observed that the industry is not in operation from last 18 months and as per representative the record of ethanol productions, storage and disposal will be maintained as and when it comes in operation. The industry has installed boiler of 2 TPH capacity with </span>Gravity Settling Chamber as APCD with boiler alongwith adequate stack height.<span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; mso-bidi-language: PA;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>In view of report of Regional office, it is recommended that consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 31.03.2024 with suitable conditions and special conditions that the industry shall not operate its plant till the industry comply with all the in-completions as reported in the notice issued and shall submit compliance report to the Board before restarting the operation of industry.
