<p style="text-align: justify;">The agenda note and report / recommendations of AEE/EE, RO, may kindly be perused.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">It is submitted that the industry is a medium scale red category industry and has been granted Consent to operate under the Air Act, 1981, valid upto 31.03.2023.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under the Air Act, 1981. The industry has deposited consent fee, which is adequate upto 31.01.2027.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">To verify the facts, the industry was visited by AEE of RO on 22.02.2023 and it was observed as under:-</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->1) <!--[endif]-->The industry was in operation during the visit and engaged in manufacturing of tractor parts.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->2) <!--[endif]-->The industry has installed zinc plating section and provided with wet scrubber to control the emission generating from zinc plating process.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->3) <!--[endif]-->The industry has installed 4 no. oil fired forging furnaces, each with hood and adequate stack height.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->4) <!--[endif]-->The industry has installed 03 no. of shot blast machines with inbuilt bag filter as an APCD.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->5) <!--[endif]-->The industry has also installed 07 no. under-ground tempering furnace and 3 no. Gas carburizing furnace. No visible emissions observed during the visit from these furnaces. </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->6) <!--[endif]-->The industry has installed one oil fired continues heat treatment furnace with hood and adequate stack height.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->7) <!--[endif]-->The industry has installed automatic powder coating booths, each with cyclone separator as APCD and adequate stack height. The industry has installed paint booths for primer, each with water certain as APCD and adequate stack height. The industry has one oil fired baking oven for baking of powder coated and painted material.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->8) <!--[endif]-->The industry has 02 no. oil fired salt bath furnaces, each with hood and adequate stack height.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->9) <!--[endif]-->The industry has one electric operated plastic dip furnace with hood and adequate stack height.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->10) <!--[endif]-->The industry has installed 06 nos. of DG sets, 02 nos of capacity 500 KVA (each), 01 no. of capacity 380 KVA and 01 no. of capacity 250 KVA, each is equipped with canopy and adequate stack heights. One DG set of capacity 250 KVA and one DG set of capacity 125 KVA are placed in acoustic enclosure.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->11) <!--[endif]-->The industry has also installed one electricity operated Conveyer Type DE embrittlement Furnace and no visible emissions observed during the visit from these furnaces.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->12) <!--[endif]-->The industry falls in approved focal point.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">As per the details of machinery, there is increased in machinery mostly non-polluting and some barrels which can be regularized in the Focal Point.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In view of above, it is recommended that the renewal of consent to operate under the Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.06.2026 with the suitable conditions as per policy of the Board.</p>
