<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">It is intimated that the industry has applied for fresh consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 under green category online through Invest Punjab Portal for manufacturing of industrial packing material by using plastic granules as raw material. The industry has uploaded the requisite documents i.e. approved building plan, CA certificate regarding value of fixed assets, manufacturing process chart, copy of registry, partnership deed, DTP certificate regarding classification of area & Udyog Aadhar certificate etc. Including consent to operate fee.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">To verify the contents of applications of the industry, the site of the industry was visited on 01.03.2023 and observed that there was traditional work being done. There was no machinery installed in the premises for manufacturing activities. During visit, Sh. Updesh Singh, proprietor of the industry was contacted and advised him that if the industry is proposed to be establish then consent to establish (NOC) under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be applied and consent to operate shall be granted after installation the machinery for such production for which applied for.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Hence, the application for consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 cannot be processed and <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>required to be returned the industry.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">If approved, application for consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be returned to the industry without any action.</span></p>
