<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">It is submitted that the industry was earlier granted consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/SAS/2022/16757106 dated 14/01/2022 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/SAS/2022/16756918 dated 14/01/2022 both were valid upto 13/01/2023 for manufacturing of PVC Pipe, Fitting & storage tank @200 MT/month or @ 8 Metric Tonnes/Day, subject to certain conditions as mentioned therein.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 with same production capacity. The industry has submitted its CA certificate mentionining the cost of the fixed assets of Rs. 198.76 lakh as on 31/01/2023, which is remain same.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry had earlier deposited consent fee of Rs 50,400/- vide UTR. no.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>SBIN221243646145 dated 31.08.2021 under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Rs. 42,500 vide UTR no. SBIN221243643169 dated 31.08.2021 under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. After deducting penalty, NOC regularization fees, Consent to operate regularization fees, the consent fees under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 is adequate up to 30.09.2023.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Now, the industry has deposited Rs. 9240/- vide online R no. 560993637 dated 16/02/2023 and Rs. 33600/- vide online R. no. 608534924 dated 01/03/2023 under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Rs. 9740/- vide online R. no.</span> <span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">376292001 dated 16/02/2023 and Rs. 33600/- vide online R. no. 143565758 dated 01/03/2023 under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The consent fee deposited by the industry is adequate upto 30/09/2028, under both the Acts. The industry has submitted its compliance report of conditions of consent to operate earlier granted to it under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry was visited by AEE of this office on 25/02/2023. During visit, it was observed that:</span></p>

The industry was in operation at the time of visit.</span></p>

Only domestic effluent is being generated and same is being discharge into MC sewer.</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Keeping in view of the above, it is recommended that consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be renewed upto 30/09/2028, subject to suitable conditions. </span></p>
