<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 20.7px; font-family: Verdana, 'sans-serif'; color: #5d5d5d;">It is submitted that at the time of previous consent, 2916 sq. mtr. area for plantation was remaining as per EC conditions and as per the visit of the undersigned about 500 sq mtr plantation and not 5000 sq mtr (inadvertently mentioned) is yet to developed. The industry was asked to complete the remaining plantation area and connect online SPM monitoring system on the APCD with server of the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 20.7px; font-family: Verdana, 'sans-serif'; color: #5d5d5d;">The industry has now submitted that it has developed pending plantation area of 180’x30’(500 sq mtr) which completes the 33% plantation area requirement as per EC condition and the same has been verified (photographs attached below). The industry vide email dated 9/2/2023 has requested the computer section to link / connect online SPM monitoring system on the APCD with server of the Board. Computer section vide email dated 23/2/2023 has intimated that the industry has been updated on ppcbcems.nic.in portal.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 20.7px; font-family: Verdana, 'sans-serif'; color: #5d5d5d;">The industry is complying with decision of the hearing given by the Chairman of the Board and with the special conditions of last consent to operate granted to it specifically w.r.t compliance of EC conditions.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin: 1.95pt 0in 0.0001pt 0.5in; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in; line-height: 18pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: Verdana, 'sans-serif'; color: #5d5d5d;">In view of above mentioned facts, if approved, it is recommended that 'consent to operate' under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, may be granted to the industry <strong>upto 30/09/2026</strong> with suitable conditions and following special conditions:</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 1.95pt 0in 0.0001pt 76.5pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -33.75pt; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: Verdana, 'sans-serif'; color: #5d5d5d;">1.</span><span style="font-size: 7pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', 'serif'; color: #5d5d5d;"> </span><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: Verdana, 'sans-serif'; color: #5d5d5d;">The industry shall bound to install adequate and appropriate pollution control device/system as per the design of reputed institute for control of secondary emissions generated from furnace unit.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 1.95pt 0in 0.0001pt 76.5pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.5in; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: Verdana, 'sans-serif'; color: #5d5d5d;">4. The project proponent shall continue to comply with the conditions of EC granted to it in true letter and spirit.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 76.5pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.5in; line-height: 13.8pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: Verdana, 'sans-serif'; color: #5d5d5d;">5. The industry shall comply with the guidelines/SOPs provided by PSCST, Chandigarh in the effective operation of APCD.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 76.5pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.5in; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: Verdana, 'sans-serif'; color: #5d5d5d;">6. The industry shall comply with Punjab Water Regulation and Development Authority (PWRDA) guidelines.</span></p>
