CTOA/Varied/FGS/2021/15733481 dated 02/06/2021 both valid upto 31/03/2026 for the manufacturing of MS Flats/ Bars @ 210 MTD under <strong>Green Category</strong>. </span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin-bottom: 12.0pt; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 115%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; background: white;">Now, the subject cited industry has applied for obtaining varied consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 with requisite documents under <strong>Orange category</strong>. </span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; letter-spacing: .05pt; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">The industry has deposited </span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">Rs. 54000/- through online vide UTR. No. N16211485117458 dated 26/04/2021 as Water consent fee and Rs. 54000/- through online vide UTR. No. N16211485114212 dated 26/04/2021 as Air consent fee <span style="background: white;">against the un-depreciated fixed assets of Rs. 792.73 Lacs As on 17/02/2023 as per CA certificate dated 23/02/2023, which is now adequate </span><strong>upto 30/09/2024 </strong>under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981<strong> </strong>as per Board's Office Order dated 29/10/2018<span style="background: white;">. </span></span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 115%; margin: 12.0pt 0in 12.0pt 0in;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; background: white;">Moreover, no complaint has been received/pending in this office. The industry has submitted stack emission sampling was carried out by NABL approved lab on <strong>16.02.2023</strong>. As per the analysis results, the concentration of SPM is found to be <strong>92.5 mg/Nm3</strong>, which is within the permissible limits of 150 mg/Nm3 as laid down by the Board. The industry is complying with consent conditions under both acts with Environmental laws. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 12.0pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 115%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN;">In the meeting held under the Chairmanship of Shri Vijay Kumar Janju, Chief Secretary, Punjab with the representatives of rolling mills operating in Mandi Gobindgarh Area on 30/12/2022 at 12:00 noon regarding their conversion of fuel from Coal/Furnace Oil to PNG, it was unanimously decided that the rolling mills operating in Mandi Gobindgarh area may be granted relaxation for some time for converting from their conventional fuels to cleaner fuels and the Competent Authority of the Board may consider/ decide regarding extending the validity of the Consents to Operate till finalization of State Fuel Policy or 31/12/2023, whichever is earlier subject to suitable conditions.</span></p>
