The promoters of these activities will not be required to take NOC from the competent authority for taking electricity connection from Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) or availing Bank loan etc.”.</span></em></p>

SCN for violations of the provisions under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 was issued to the Poultry farm with opportunity of personal hearing before Senior Environmental Engineer on 12.08.2022 vide Zonal Office letter no. 2618-20 dated 02.08.2022 wherein it was decided as under:- </span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin: 0cm; margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">As the poultry farm failed to comply with the decisions of the personal hearing held on 12.08.2022, accordingly, it was again recommended to SEE, Zonal Office, Amritsar to initiate action under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for closure of the poultry farm. <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> Proceedings of the personal hearing before Chief Environmental Engineer, Jalandhar on 13.02.2023 are awaited.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Now, the poultry has applied for obtaining consents of the Board under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through online system for operation of the poultry farm and hatchery having birds capacity @ 36000 Number/Year and old day chicks @ 17000 Number/Day under Green Category.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The poultry farm has deposited Rs. 55400/- vide online UTR No. 627824576 dated 18/02/2023, Rs. 47500/- vide online UTR No. 208045855 dated 18/02/2023, Rs. 33600/- vide Ch No. 000452 dated 03/03/2023 &Rs. 33600/- vide Ch No. 000454 dated 03/03/2023 as consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 including Rs. 8400/- as NOC Regularization fee, Penalty fee and Rs. 500/- as application fee against gross value of fixed assets of Rs. 4,99,55,382/- as per CA certificate submitted by the poultry farm and same is adequate for five years period.</span></p>
