<p class="MsoBodyText2" style="line-height: 150%;">It is submitted that the hospital has applied for obtaining fresh consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS for 15beds.</p>
<p class="MsoBodyText2" style="line-height: 150%;"> The Hospital has submitted Rs. 12,500/- vide UTR No. IDIBH23047185488 dated 16/02/2023 &Rs. 14,000/- vide UTR No. IDIBH23047184915 dated 16/02/2023 under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 including Rs. 2000/- as NOC Regularization fee and Rs. 500/- Form Downloading Fee,which is adequate upto 30/09/2027. The HCF has submitted requisite documents along with the application which can be pursued. The HCF has submitted bills issued from PWSSB regarding sewerage charges which shows that the HCF is discharging its effluent into sewer after treatment through ETP.The HCF has submitted Building Plan approved from Municipal Council, Gurdaspur vide dated 06/11/2001 (Copy Enclosed). The HCF comprises of 15 beds and has capacity to generate effluent @ 7.0 KLD, for which the HCF has installed ETP of capacity 10 KLD to treat its effluent and has submitted feasibility report of the same. The HCF has submitted bills issued from PWSSB regarding sewerage charges which shows that the HCF is discharging its effluent into sewer after treatment through ETP.The Hospital was visited by officer of this office on 02/03/2023 and observed as under:-</p>

<p><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-fareast; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-bidi; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;">It is pertinent to mention here that the authorization under Bio Medical Waste (Management) Rules, 2016 was extended upto 31/03/2023 vide online reference no. BMW/Renewal/GRP/2018/7430317 dated 23/04/2018 through OCMMS.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-fareast; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-bidi; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif'; font-size: 11pt;">In view of above, it is recommended that Consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted for a period upto 30/09/2027subject to suitable conditions along with special condition the HCF shall analysed its treated effluent samples within 02 months from the Board Lab.</span> </span></p> |
