CTOW/Renewal/PTA/2018/8574486 dated 21/11/2018 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/PTA/2018/8574453 dated 21/11/2018 for manufacturing of Plastic Dana @ 1000 kg/day by using Plastic Scrap @ 1000 kg/day as raw material under orange category with certain conditions mentioned therein. These consents were valid up to 30/09/2022.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; mso-line-height-alt: 11.5pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-language: PA;"> Now, the industry has applied for renewal consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 under orange category along with requisite documents i.e. latest CA certificate, compliance report of previous consent conditions. The industry has also deposited Rs. 9000/- vide Receipt. No. 437191697 dated 21.01.2023 under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Rs. 9000/- vide Receipt. No. 975664763 dated 23.01.2023 under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 & Rs. 450/- vide Receipt. No. 437191697 dated 21.01.2023, Rs. 450/- vide Receipt. No. 975664763 dated 23.01.2023 as penalty fee. The industry has also submitted Rs. 700/- vide Receipt. No. 975664763 dated 23.01.2023 as NOC regularization fee due to increased its fixed assets. The total consent fee deposited by the industry is adequate up to 30.09.2027 against the fixed assets of Rs. 11.53 lakhs as per CA certificate dated 16.01.2023.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;">The industry was visited by Junior Environmental Engineer of this office on 04.03.2023 and contacted Sh. Pardeep Kumar, Proprietor at site. During visit, it was observed as under:- </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; background: white;">The industry is complying with the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and conditions of consents granted to it under said acts.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; background: white;">In view of above, it is, therefore, recommended that the consent to operate Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be renewed up to 30.09.2027</span><span style="font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; orphans: 2; widows: 2; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; word-spacing: 0px;"> </span><span style="font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; orphans: 2; widows: 2; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; float: none; word-spacing: 0px;">for manufacturing of Plastic Dana @ 1000 kg/day by using Plastic Scrap @ 1000 kg/day as raw material with the usual conditions and following special conditions that: </span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;">1. The industry will apply and obtain registration under the PWM Rules as Plastic Waste Processor/recycler.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; background: white; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; orphans: 2; widows: 2; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; word-spacing: 0px;"><span style="font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;">2. The industry shall get its emission samples analysed from Board's lab within one month.</span></p>

The industry shall not use waste plastic carry bags as raw material.</span></p> |
