<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 70.9pt;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;">Earlier, the Consent to Operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 was granted to the industry for E-waste Recyling @ 2 TPD which are valid upto 30/06/2026 subject to suitable conditions.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 70.9pt;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;">The industry has now applied for varied Consent to Operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for Dismantling and Refurbishment of E-waste @ 2 TPD. The industry has already submitted Agreement for lifting of Hazardous Waste to Nimbua Greenfield (Cat 35.1 and Cat 35.3) and Aggarwal Manufacturing Co. (Cat 5.1), Purchase agreement of Ferrous Scrap and Non-Ferrous Metals with M/s Jagraon Concast Pvt. Ltd & M/s Tirath Ram and Co.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 70.9pt;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;">The industry was visited by the undersigned on 03/03/2023 and it was observed as under: - </span></p>

Only Domestic effluent @ 1 KLD will be discharged onto land for plantation after septic tank. </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 70.9pt;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;">In view of the above it is recommended that varied 'Consent to Operate' under the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the facility upto 30.06.2026 with suitable conditions and additional conditions as under:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The facility will be bound to send the dismantled E waste to the authorized recycler of state Govt./central Govt. only and recycled plastic waste to the authorized industries of PPCB. </span></p>
